hello...updating again...trying to keep the habit...
well, life's been sort of different the past few days...spent a fair bit of time on my own, thinking...til the point where i actually forgot how to play touch...fortunately, it came back to me rather quickly...but the fact that i actually forgot how to play one of my favourite sports is rather troubling...still...it just goes on, life a carousel, yeah?
anyway, had the afore-mentioned touch game, at NUS, on saturday, against the SRC guys, then mixed, then the NUS guys came down, so we played them for a little while...after that, i went for lao cb's bbq...hahah...happy birthday lao cb! met dy, han, xuan, rasheed, aldie and mel at tanah merah...then we took 14 down to ecp and spent like 20 minutes walking to the god damned pit...saw my uncle and met up with dy's CLT/james' classmate Ivor AKA Chee Yong...lol...small world...anyway, we still reached before lao, xiang, joey and rach...who took a cab...so while rasheed and lao were setting up the fire, i went to play a little bit of modified contact/touch with dy, aldie, xuan, han and rach...hahah...contact for all, except rach...then after the game, went to eat, while mel counted planes...by the time we left, i think she hit 40+...lol...
today, woke up around 2...waited for shaik to call, but he was still asleep, so i just stoned, ate, thought about stuff, and used the computer...went for dinner with my family, then parkway with shaik...then we went to have a couple of beers, to wish shaik luck for his papers, at 1 of roxy's many pubs...fortunately, 1 of the cleaner ones...then home...sleep was supposed to come easily, with the beers, but somehow, i'm still up, typing this post, and now that i'm at the end, i realise i still can't sleep...
I know I can't always make you happy when you're down...
I just wish I could...cheers
Mitchell. 19-going-on-20, was once the world's biggest moron. Likes sports, especially rugby, soccer and basketball. Also pool, but some people don't consider that a sport. Hates studying, not academically inclined. RP. Rugger. Slave to fate, just like everybody else in the world. That's it. I think.
Sometimes, love is like making a tackle in rugby.
You might tackle your opponent, but if you go in half-heartedly, you could hurt yourself, or your opponent.
If you don't give her all your heart, don't expect her to give you all her heart.
But if you never go in at all, you can't just expect the person to fall straight into your arms.
If you never tell her, how will she ever know?
So the best way is to always go in hard.
Maybe the only way to ever succeed in love is to always give it your everything.
But sometimes you go in hard and miss anyway.
So don't expect it to always work out.
