so i'm finally back from my super long O level hiatus...not that anyone cares right? yep, thought so...anyway, life has been pretty screwed up lately...but on the bright side, O's are over...papers weren't too terrible i guess...and i guess i'm gonna blog abt my secondary school life in BDS...
guess i'll focus mainly on my upper sec, cause my lower sec was kinda boring, and also cause i can't really remember everything about it...yes, old age, so sue me...so yeah, entered the school without knowing anyone, cause i was from the north side of s'pore and just moved over after PSLE...got to know some people from class, and a few more from NCC, and kinda stuck around with these people all the time...mostly the same from sec 1 to sec 2...
sec 3 we started the year on a brand new campus...and with brand new pants...hahah...made more friends, cause i was in a new class...took over the leadership of NCC...still not really social til the end of sec 3, when i joined the student ambassador program...that was really the beginning of my social life, cause i kinda got to know many more people from different ages...and where i met her...
so...sec 4 was much more fun...from the few people i knew, i got to know more people...and i finally fufilled my wish to take up a sport...joined rugby...won some stuff...took my N's...made it through to sec 5...
sec 5...the most complicated year of all...good times and bad, all rolled together...still in rugby, won some more medals...NCC finally made it to gold for the 1st time in history...studied like i never studied before, and finally, ended my time in BDS after taking my last O level paper on the 22nd of november...
so...it's been a meaningful year i guess...matured me in ways...i've gotten beaten up, betrayed, but then i've know true brotherhood and friendship too...felt hate, fallen in love, been rejected, felt physical, mental and emotional exhaustion and pain...i've drank til the point of drunkeness, smoked til i couldn't take any more cigarettes, found out my parents are actually divorced...stuff like that i guess i'll remember for a long time...
people sometimes think that i have a great temper...cause i seem to be able to take things so easily...the truth is, i cry and bleed just like anyone else on the planet...and sometimes, it really does feel like the end of the world...but for me, i just try to look at things in a practical and realistic manner...what's done is done, the past is already gone, and only the future awaits...
still, life goes on...when i wake up tomorrow, it'll be a brand new day...so no point being troubled...

Sometimes, love is like making a tackle in rugby.
You might tackle your opponent, but if you go in half-heartedly, you could hurt yourself, or your opponent.
If you don't give her all your heart, don't expect her to give you all her heart.
But if you never go in at all, you can't just expect the person to fall straight into your arms.
If you never tell her, how will she ever know?
So the best way is to always go in hard.
Maybe the only way to ever succeed in love is to always give it your everything.
But sometimes you go in hard and miss anyway.
So don't expect it to always work out.
