some people listen to the radio to spice up their lives with music...to others, music IS their lives...these people, known collectively as 'culture' kids, are usually heavily influenced by the music they hear...it changes their perspective on life...they look up to the bands, and begin to copy their fashion sense, language, and to a certain extent, especially of the punk genre of music, adopt similiar political views as the band. for me, i can't really describe all the other 'sub-cultures' in great detail, because i was interested in becoming a punk, until i saw how different the local scene was, compared to the world. so i stopped listening to so much punk, but began to drift towards another genre of music, emo. i was never interested in becoming 'emo', because at heart, i still believe in some of the punk values...the DIY mentality, the individualism, and most importantly, the fight against visual discrimintaion and social prejudice. there are a lot of so-called 'punks' who can't even tell you where punk was created, much less the year it was born. these 'punks' usually just stay with the culture until being a punk goes out of fashion. it's because of these large number of posuers that i decided to stay out of the culture. but these recent problems with KA have really pissed me off. perhaps i'm looking at things on too grand a scale, but this just feels like the same circumstances that created punk. they are trying to crush us, just because we are different. well, we PRIDE ourselves in being different. at least we know enough about the world to rebel and rise against a corrupted system, a system that you are slaves to. i'm not talking about the government here...i'm talking about your gang.

Mitchell. 19-going-on-20, was once the world's biggest moron. Likes sports, especially rugby, soccer and basketball. Also pool, but some people don't consider that a sport. Hates studying, not academically inclined. RP. Rugger. Slave to fate, just like everybody else in the world. That's it. I think.
Sometimes, love is like making a tackle in rugby.
You might tackle your opponent, but if you go in half-heartedly, you could hurt yourself, or your opponent.
If you don't give her all your heart, don't expect her to give you all her heart.
But if you never go in at all, you can't just expect the person to fall straight into your arms.
If you never tell her, how will she ever know?
So the best way is to always go in hard.
Maybe the only way to ever succeed in love is to always give it your everything.
But sometimes you go in hard and miss anyway.
So don't expect it to always work out.
