woah..just finished watching 'black hawk down'...thought it would be some kinda 'all action' movie...you know...bullets flying left, right and center...well...it was like that for most of it lah...but at the core, as one of the delta squad characters in the movie put it 'it's all about the guy next to you,and doing what you can for him'...it was really inspiring...i know it's a movie, but it was based on a true story...i hate america's policy, the way they try to boss the world around...but the people i really respect and salute are the troops at the front line, the ones getting shot at daily, fighting a war that politicians started...i guess it was feelings like this which made me wanna join the NCC all those years ago...hmm...anyway...today woke up at 530am...went down to bedok inter at about 645am...expecting to be late, but turns out i was 1 of the 1st people to reach...had breakfast, consisting of soft-boiled eggs, kaya toast and tea...nice...then waited til about 730am for a few more people to arrive...then we went to ECP for training...we trained really hard today, did lineout throws and the penalty tap-&-go...trained until i had no saliva to swallow, my throat was that dry...after training, i wrung out my t-shirt...made a small puddle of sweat on the floor...so just hung out at 1 of the shelters for a while...then i went off with apek, dinie and acap...reached home and planned to sleep, but completed Kotor2...SOMEONE msged...haha...so late...msg u good mornin at 6+ and u reply me at arnd 230pm...haha...but im sure you have your reasons...anyway, thanks for being so concerned...but, as far as i'm concerned, your darling and me are getting along quite well for people who have only known each other for less than a month...haha...anzari another funny 1...ask you to pass his apology to me for tackling me down during training? haha...aiyoh...it happens lah...sorry for what? hmm...tomorrow common test starting...haven't even touched my books/notes...cause, to me, at this point in time, rugby is far more important...especially since we have a game after tomorrow's paper...hope we can thrash them...show them the might of the BDS dream team...it's our last year...last chance to prove ourselves...last oppertunity to play together...who knows? perhaps next year, some of us could very well be opponents...last year to stick it to the independant schools...so what if we're a neighbourhood school? we can still thrash you all the same, independant or not...the team spirit is with us, it's inspiring us to do our best for ourselves, for the other 14 guys in the field, for the school, for the supporters...k lah...til here...cheers...

You might tackle your opponent, but if you go in half-heartedly, you could hurt yourself, or your opponent.
If you don't give her all your heart, don't expect her to give you all her heart.
But if you never go in at all, you can't just expect the person to fall straight into your arms.
If you never tell her, how will she ever know?
So the best way is to always go in hard.
Maybe the only way to ever succeed in love is to always give it your everything.
But sometimes you go in hard and miss anyway.
